Supporting Children
Strong Foundations for Learning and Wellbeing
The early years and foundation stage are critical in shaping a child’s future learning. These first experiences of school lay the foundations not only for academic success, but for confidence, independence, and resilience.
Strong early provision goes beyond phonics, reading, and number work. It supports children to develop language, emotional regulation, curiosity, and positive relationships — the building blocks that enable learning to flourish over time. When these foundations are secure, children are better equipped to navigate challenge, think critically, and approach learning with confidence.
Through targeted tutoring and carefully designed resources, I support children to strengthen core academic skills while also nurturing wellbeing, self-belief, and a love of learning. I also create practical, accessible resources for families to support learning at home, helping children practise key skills in ways that feel purposeful and manageable.
My approach recognises that progress is not only measured in attainment, but in growing independence, resilience, and readiness for the next stage of education.
