Welcome to KL Ware Education - Supporting teachers, parents and young learners to thrive

Hello, and welcome to KL Ware Education. I’m Katie Lianne Ware, an Early Years and Key Stage One teacher and Forest School leader based in London. After teaching in a range of settings in the UK and internationally, I created this space to share the ideas, approaches and resources that have shaped my practice and to support others working with young children.

Over the years, I’ve seen how deeply early education impacts confidence, curiosity and lifelong learning. I’ve also seen how much teachers and parents benefit from clear guidance, practical strategies and reassurance. This website is my way of offering that support in a simple and accessible way.

Why I Started KL Ware Education

Teaching is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be overwhelming. Planning, behaviour, phonics, reading, curriculum expectations, outdoor learning, emotional needs — it’s a lot for any teacher or parent to navigate.

I wanted to create a place where you can find:

• advice rooted in real classroom experience

• ideas you can use the very next day

• outdoor learning inspiration
